Ready to RIDE at 10 am.
Directions to Wood River Ride
Turn left (west) on Modoc Point Road and drive through Modoc Point.,
Stay on Modoc Point Road , Cross the Williamson River about
5 1\2 miles north of Modoc Point, travel north about 4 1\2 miles to the Trailhead. There is a large fancy Wood River Wetlands sign on the left (west side of the road) and we will park on the east side of Point Road across from the Wetlands entrance. There is a little dirt road that turns in there and a narrow area between two fences that is owned by the BLM. We can leave our trailers there.
If you are coming from the south on Highway 97, or coming through Chiloquin, take the North Chiloquin Hwy (Hwy 422) and go under Highway 97 at the North Chiloquin exit. Stay on the North Chiloquin Hwy a little over 3 miles from Highwayl 7, and cross Crater Lake highway (Hwy 62) Go a short ways (like less than 0.2 miles and turn left (south) on Modoc Point Road. Drive south about 1 1\4 miles to the Wood River Wetlands Trailhead. Again park on the east side of the road across from the paved road down to the trailhead
